Best news to banish the Monday morning blues at work. Gig is on the night before Soundwave, my ears are in for a pounding.

Great news. That's a fairly zig-zag tour down-under then. For a band that occasionally professes to not enjoy touring, they must be enjoying touring again. Gotta respect your elders...

Brisbane festival + Sydney sideshow dates for me I reckon :thumb:

I seem to remember from the 2002 sideshow gig at the Hordern that the pub of choice was right next door to the venue - can't remember the name of it though...

Ah yes I was there.

Outstanding news and perfectly timed. I've been procrastinating on which shows I do, anticipating something like this.

Fantastic news! Who's the likely ticket vendor?

Ticketek Syd, Ticketmaster Melb. Reckon we're doing both.

Sound, nice work mmh. Deffo doing Festy Hall, though it is buggery hot venue in the warmer months. Nearly had to leave last gig I saw there!

I'll be at Hooky meet and greet, Sydney Randwick VIP area, and Sydney side show up front filming.

Any interest in a get-together or NO night somewhere in the build-up?

As Andrew said, you're in for a great time, The light are a fantastic band and meeting Hooky is always a buzz, despite some of the things he says in interviews, he's a very nice bloke, probably the most open and approachable member (should that be ex-member) of New Order, ask him to forge Bernards autograph on a freebass CD :evil4:

hehehe

I met Hooky back in 2010 as well for the Unknown Pleasures show, got a photo and had him sign the set list, etc. But it will be nice to catch up with him again.

Actually just sent all my recordings from that gig to condemnation who put together the audio live CD of the show. Maybe we can combine my video and the audio together at some point to make a nice little DVD type thing?
