I wonder if they did play a cover version?

I remember Arthur Baker playing both Confusion and Everything's Gone Green before New Order at Brixton in 2001 so I called up Johan Scott in the middle of those and, to all intents and purposes it would've sounded like the real thing playing those (as I was stood in front of the speakers at the time so the noise was somewhat overblown and distorted as I tried to shout over it!) and also the timing (around 9pm) would've been right too.

Er, that was probably my hilite of those gigs. :\ohwell:

Oh, other than Hooky playing the Age of Consent bassline at the end of the third night.

Jake stayed in the same hotel in Wolverhampton as some of us. After the gig we were drinking in the hotel bar when he came in and started chatting with us. He was a nice bloke, but nobody was particularly interested in talking to him.

I like Jake, I think his solo work is excellent and he seems like a really nice guy. I sent him an email recently and he wrote me a really nice response. Cool guy.

Not yet.

Spamming the forum with his boring band, then calling me Nazi (pretending he didn't see the flag next to my name)... I'm glad he isn't in reunited New Order (that was what I feared the most). Or better he should be glad that he isn't. Else he could have had "an accident" in Brussels or something. :evil4:

"Famous" is something of an over-exaggeration isn't it? I had no idea who the bloody hell he is until it occured to me to type "Bad Lieutenant" into Wikipedia.

So he used to post here and get into spats with members? Meh. Call me when Barney, Hooky, Gillian or Steve (or even Cuntingham) start posting here.

Hooky posted here once. But don't ask me where.

She lives in a part of Germany called Westfalia. People from there shall never forgive. By the way they shouldn't have invented humour either. :D

Same in Cologne in November. Some people thought this was the main act and putted banknotes up in the air to protest against the DJ Set.

My humour has boundaries... And being called Nazi is not funny.

Forget these stupid people....don't let their ignorance rile you! They are largely inconsequential...and their music is just a drop of piss in a vast ocean so will be quickly rendered worthless.....

Play a Six By Seven record at mountain-cracking, earth-quaking volume and these idiots will soon melt into dust from the sonic firestorm that slams into them!

:D :shades:  :thumb:
