I could point the finger at one or two people who just would not stop going on endlessly about this edit and that edit while Recycle was being put together. Seriously, no one cares except for obsessive compulsive people who hoard music.

A lot of worthless filler in there. Looks like it's padded out with the likes of Crystal fan remixes for that competition Acid Pro ran at the time.

I'm a bit of a completist but non-official tracks have limited to no collectible value for me. Some of the early bootleg vinyl has romantic appeal but fan/non-commisioned DJ mixes are mostly pants.

150+ mixes of Crystal is indeed insane. I like the song but i think I'd prefer Chinese Water torture, or Gulf War heavy metal torture rather than listen to all of those back to back. Just when I thought i'd spotted an omission (!) amongst the Crystal mixes - namely Lee Coombes BOC mix, up it pops on line 743. Phew, thank goodness for that!

and finally as per the post above, whats this Slow version of Ceremony?

Krafty (Japanese Version) is one of the bonus tracks on the Japanese issue of the Waiting For the Sirens' Call CD. Barney sings the whole song in Japanese (although his backing vocals remain in English).

Elegia (Terranova Remix) is an official track. It's on the colorcalm by Design DVD. It runs as long (17 1/2 minutes) as the full Elegia but has some extra percussion elements that give it more of a generic ambient vibe.

They may be referring to the original trio version of Ceremony as the "slow version". It is a few ticks down on the BPM's.

From a promotional-only CDR with (circa) 2 minute fades of each mix - never bothered with it myself...

Yes it is indeed anal-tastic, and yet I have filled in some gaps in my NO knowledge thanks to those who responded to my questions. I bought the american version of WFTSC for the mac quale remix of Guilt(not that great) but i didn't realise I was missing out on Japanese nuggets too...

This is not some heroic person releasing something previously unreleased to the fanbase, this is a thief who is not only profiting from official band material but also heavily trading on the time and research put in by fans in good faith. He or she is basically making best part of 50 quid out of simply burning a DVD-R. The hard work was put in by lots and lots of other people not to mention Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert.

Elaborate on how crap the fan made mixes are?? The amount of material that is included here, the price he is selling it at.

I see my version of Jetstream is on there (dub - no 783), which was from the remix competition NO ran when the single was out (I don't think there was ever a winner either!) this gives me a tiny little idea of how the band feel when they see someone else cashing in on their work.

I'd heard that people are still buying this, they are just contacting the seller directly. Oh well, apparently the need for many NO tracks, for some folks, has trumped the immorality of the whole enterprise

As others have said, that is a real track---it was one of the bonus tracks on the Japanese release of WFTSC. The lyrics were 'translated' (I use that term loosely because the Japanese lyrics are not the same meaning as the English lyrics) by the musician Masafumi Goto (of Asian Kung Fu Generation), and yes, it does feature Bernard singing Krafty in Japanese.

A remix in the 80's was a good thing, then enter the dj culture. Take the vocal track, and add some totally unrelated bullshit music behind it... and there we go.

When that 'rest of New Order' cd came out, and there was a remix of 'Age of Consent', I couldn't believe it, couldn't wait to hear it. What a piece of shit that was, just like most of those later mixes. Shit sandwich.
