Discography question: What are these items?

In my (long) task of updating the New Order Discography @niagara.edu I found three images deep down in my computer. My question is: Does anyone have more details about the items?

Item 1

Is this something that Rob Gretton commissioned to celebrate the success of Blue Monday. It looks very similar to the Fact 75 sculpture they did for PCL. Does it have an official Fac#?

Item 2

I remember this reel vaugely, but I can't remember the details. Is it only a studio outtake, or something else? What are the tracks? I recognize Cries & Whisper, and may be other to guess some other parts.

Item 3

Is this a promo related to Singles, 12x12", or perhaps the download-only collection "Best Remixes"?

item 1 looks like something to commemorate sales of half a million copies of fac 73, like you suggest

T, 1-Blue monday "sculpture" to comemorate sales of blue monday,sure there was a fac number of something like fac73s or fac73l or something like that.

my copy is rough, although I have cleaned it up a bit with Adobe Audition :)

Just a note on the original anvil LOGO.

In November 1980 the label became a limited company trading as FACTORY COMMUNICATIONS LTD.It transpired that Factory Records had already been registered by an unrelated party.Saville was commissioned to design the company's logo,which he sourced from an Italian printing book.The monogram perpetuated the label's romance of industry.However, the most serendipitous aspect to this was that once the logo was flipped the letters f c and l appear.'F' being the vice ,'C' the cog (rotated 90 degrees), and 'L' defined by vertical axis and right hand of the anvil.

Yes it was, but the deckchair mix of Mesh is ace

cheers mate...i can remember the days when info like this really meant something.I haven't read much now that we have these colourful books.But if i had have known this from some black and white photos in an obscure magazine in the 80's i would have been HAPPY for weeks(and DRUNK). Shame of the NATION...bloody INTERnet

u know i still get lotsa thrill knowing these trivials even though i got those colourful books - but them books are meant to be permanent fixture on shelves for display urposes only ( my kevin cummins jd photo book is still sealed as i cant bring meself , fearing stains might mark the lovely jacket overlay or those nice lettering engraved on the orange cover - gotta keep them minty mint )

btw, inally got to listen to psb's possibly more mix of 'did u see me coming' on your recommendation - great remix & love that double-entendre :D
