apparently, even though Major is back, he doesn't feel up to doing this yet...so I shall endeavor to carry on!!!

1 The keyboard / synths sense a shiver down the spine every time......but the best part would be Curtis' lyrics.

2 That the fans were not given the full song on the Heart & Soul Box Set, I can understand it, but I would have liked to have heard it.

3 Love it, and it was great it got brought back fer Manchester Apollo 98....."Rest In Peace Ian"

Haunting Keyboards
Not sure, maybe the vocals but I can't quite quantify it
Love it because it is so out there and not repeatable

Best bit: the opening drum bit

Worst bit: you can't understand a word of Barney's version (at least the first 100 times)

Fave part: In the 1984 live version Muffy sent me, when Barney keeps telling Steve to "go faster". That always cracks me up for some reason.

Jeff Shaved or Long: Why go to extremes (Suddenly the Billy Joel song is in my head, but I'll ignore that)? A decent short back and sides should suffice.

Opening, haunting lyrics, and how the last note of the song is drawn out, simply beautiful
Vocals are a tad bit too muted

Best bit - mournful bassline at the end
Worst bit - not played live anymore
Love/hate - used to hate it live until around 85, then it suddenly became a favourite. Guess I didn't appreciate it when it was around enough !
Percentage - 80%
Jeff's Bonce - suited you as it was at Finsbury. Shaved head wouldn't suit your eyebrows, too blond. Short is best.

I believe it's been oft-stated that the Barnster was 'speeding his nuts off' at the time, hence thinking everyone else was going faaar toooo slooow.

Best bit - suprise re-emergence at Mancland 98.
Worst bit - the 'Rest In Peace, Man' comment from above. Utter cheese. The vocal is dire on the original too, really muddied.
Not really a fan. Too morbid. Not something I've probably aired since the early 80's.

Love things like the general low tones of the song, the bit of melodica, the cymbals, and the lyrics.
Worst thing is that the vocals aren't really very strong.
Love blasting it on the stereo so that the walls will shake.
Despite its morbid tones, overall rating of 90%
Since I don't know ya very well, and summer's over, ya might as well keep it in case it gets quite cold this fall and winter. Hey, didn't it snow in South Carolina last year?
