Hooky remained censored for much of the show 'cos of his foul mouth, but predictably spent the duration barking nonsense in the background.

Peter Hook is 13-and-a-half years old. And all the better for it.

Did they say anything of note, or was it just a plug for Back To Mine, etc.?

Hooky states: "NO in the studio next week to start new NO album"

"Next week"? Oh, they're rushing it, aren't they? In the beginning of the year, the word was "in the studio in SEPTEMBER". So, before they even start the job, they're already one month late. Nothing new, then...

It was just arch-ligger Hooky, I don't think "BTM" was even mentioned. Nothing of "note" beyond the brief reference to new lp cited by Huntsy, unless you enjoy - as I do - Hooky behaving like a foul-mouthed twat. Its great to hear someone say "wanker" on lunchtime Radio 1. They asked inane questions about the "split", the "comeback" etc, to which Hooky gave equally inane, evasive answers. When asked about the Old Trafford show and if he enjoyed it, Hooky replied with shedloads of sarcasm, "Oh yeah, its great watching all yer mates getting pissed when you've got to stay sober". They asked about his low-slung bass style as well, but Hooky just replied with something incomprehensible. He wanted congratulating for his "Muso" award a few weeks back, but no-one was very interested.....

All in all, a slight-but-heartwarming outing for the Hook monster.

I always thought they'd originally said October? Which means they're bang on time. For once.

No mention of this bloody Glasto thing then? For which some of us have unwittingly acquired tickets.. . :eek3:

Such is the price of dedication and blind optimism, I guess. Tho' I'll be eating my words if they DO turn up to said shows..... No mention of this bloody Glasto thing then? For which some of us have unwittingly acquired tickets.. . :eek3:
