They seem to make the kind of badly done bootlegs which end up on Ebay going for $4.50 Buy It Nows... and not selling.
So all "Elegia", "586" (peel), and "The Him" are a threesome grouped together to honor Ian? I don't get the connection for grouping the 3 together.
Thats the main problem with these Slow to speak releases, they just chuck on seemingly random tracks. I'm refusing to buy this one, i know i will never play it and the cover looks shit.
So, NME, Pitchfork, FACTmag and others ran with a story about a bootleg release, somehow making it a Joy Division story too, and guess what....you can't buy the record anymore.

probably written by a JD fanatic (or somebody who wants to sell it to JD fanatics) who can't admit NO are just as good a band, even if they did different things. I hate those types of people.

I don't think the lawyers had anything to do with it. 
The whole situation sounds dodgy...and I don't see why some people think it's 'awesome'. I don't understand the enthusiasm (especially of NME etc....) that are reporting this.
