That Hooky Interview In THe Sunday Mail

Thought somebody would have scanned it by now. Defineately his best yet, big double page spread. He urges fans to boycott the New Order gig at T In The Park on Sunday, talks in detail about the legal case and a bunch of other good stuff. In a separate column they give TITP director Geoff Ellis a 'right to reply' about the boycott appeal. He's diplomatic as you'd expect and says he'll personally guarantee The Light a slot at next year's festival.

Before anyone asks I binned it and I don't own a scanner anyway.

And why would he just single out T in the Park, when they've been playing at so many gigs and festivals? Yes I know it's a Scottish paper, so maybe that's why...but still...

The whole purpose of the feature wasn't clear unless it was a means of stirring up some controversy before next weekend's gig. Hooky wasn't getting asked about anything else except what his thoughts were on next weekends gig which they managed to spin into a big feature.

Shug's an avid reader of the Sunday Mail. Has he chucked NOOL too? The jocks AND the plastic jocks???
