Don’t believe in that Brazilian release date at the main page. Record companies in this country are not reliable. Well, never trust any record company, anywhere in the world!

don't misinterpret Jorge's intention...his point, in case you don't read Worldinmotion.com's forum is that he is fed up with the insufficiency of this site...correct me if i'm wrong. this site is run by people with LIVES and JOBS who donate their time and energy for the regular and casual users of this site...they do not live to report NewOrder information before anyone else nor do they hope to always have the most current information updated on the site....it's easy to not point your browser to this page Jorge....take it easy....listen to Every Second Counts and have a laugh.

... I just thought George had wind.

?!?!

Well, I'm sorry then, but that's the date I got from the French label.. if that is not accurate, nobody sent me a mail about it :D

I don't have time to call the damn label to check if a release has been postponed, I've seen so many date that I have no idea which one is good now..

Well it seems I was misinterpreted! Let it be stated that I was ranting about record companies and their "release" dates...

Don't you guys know what's portuguese humour? Come on!

Out of curiousity, I'm looking and I don't see anything related to this on the "other site"'s forum...

I think that Jorge's point is that there is a major New Order release scheduled for today and we should all be falling over ourselves celebrating it. While it is always difficult to outguess people's intentions your interpretation would suggest a rather callous nature in Jorge that he has never shown to possess. Jorge must be fully aware that this is a fan and not an official site and hence it is not always as professional looking and continuously updated as the official sites.

sorry Jorge...must be the language barrier...i find myself misunderstood at times on the forums...mainly because i don't use smilies when i'm joking....

this was the post i was referring to at Worldinmotion...

i observed on the other fucking site that 2 songs are missed on finsbury park dvd :

on the Finsbury DVD thread....i just read too much into it i suppose.....

mental note: do not express other people's "intentions" when you don't know what the fuck your talking about....

Well, I do see the point of everyone here, and seriously, I'm doing the best that I can with very little help of the labels I must say, I got most of my information by people sending me mail and helping us.

I know David is quite good (or maybe it's Jonathan) at finding the news which is why when the first draw of www.neworder-net.com was begining, I said to the crew it might be a good idea to ask him to join us too (for those who are not aware of what is the neworder-net.com project, it was the merge of "Temptation" (my former website) and "The Pop Group With A Dark Past" with Happy Jack, Chris Au, Jonathan Scott (445), Antoine Barbet (N21), Sébastien Boisvert (webmaster) and I, which never see the light of day, but gave birth to NewOrderOnline)...

I must say our forum is probably the best source of news there is actually, you will find all important information HERE, not on the news page, this is seriously the place where I find most of my news :shy:

I should ask for collaborators, for the news and upcoming events probably, but when a release is postponed, if you are not aware of it, it's just annoying, and this kind of information is tough to get..

Plus, I don't have much time to do it, I remember quite well spending 2-3 hours finding reviews of the first Get Ready gigs on local newspaper over the internet, it was very time consuming.

Plus, I have no shame in reporting news from other New Order related sites, and putting them as the source. This site is to find information about New Order, not destroying everyone.. sure, nobody will be completely happy with everything, but I think we're doing quite a good job, for a hobby!

This forum completely destroyed the Ceremony Mailing List, I have no idea how this happend, but there is no activity in there since this forum exists (in this format), so I'm sure this is what makes this site so visited, in fact, I first thought it was the multimedia files, but then, we managed to keep a tremendous amount of hits without 90% of those, so it's more than that!

Ah, but that's Julio.. he's been banned for spamming all boards on this site MANY TIMES with his exchange lists, despite of many warnings, he sent us hate mails and verious threats.

So I'm not surprised he described our site this way!

You had me, I was starting to be paranoid ;)

P/S: I've updated the upcoming events :D

The date has been postponed by 2 weeks.. sorry guys

I'd rather it didn't get released at all actually as a matter of fact - simply because the track listting is almost like a xerox of Substance. Completely pointless. Who selected this track running order?

gotta agree there Dave. I can't see who will buy it. if your a fan you've got all the tracks anyway and it's not as if they're picking up loads of new fans to satisfy.

Do people really buy things like this for the artwork as i seem to have read on here before? They could do a limited edition 'no cd' version presented in a nice picture frame...

I have no intention of picking it up anyways, so it's no sweat off my nose :D

If you have Subs already, stick with it. Unless you're a remix junkie (and I've stated before that I'm not), this looks unessential.

Actually... we had a contest on NewOrderOnline.com to select the tracklisting of that album.. I don't think we managed to do that, but we sure got the 2nd CD of the french edition...

hmmm, makes me wonder if, in their spare time, the band ever browse through the forums to see what's being written about them. if so, i bet they're really disturbed at the state of their fanbase! :eek3:

We know that Hooky's daughter Heather looks at the site and other New Order sites, from an interview with someone connected to the band (sorry, can't remember who or when).

But International is not something the band wanted to release.. the box set is...

So the box set should be interesting.. but we want a f*cking tracklisting

well maybe hooky's daughter heather will read this thread, tell her dad, and suddenly a track listing will appear....
