I guess you can trade them, but I just changed my phone to get back to a Nokia (thank god my provider finally updated their phones, I was missing my old Nokia!)

With the songbook of New Order, I managed to do my first ringtone, so if anyone wants it.. please post yours, I will put them in the download or in the literature section.

I have a Nokia 3390 and it works like a charm under it, I'm trying to find if I can actually have more than one entered manually in this thing, but I'll try to do others.. probably Temptation :D

What the best way to text this sort of ringtone data to one's Nokia? I can SMS from my PC and such like; just can't get the stuff in.

I can SMS it too, but I was in the composer and did it myself for this one.

I found a free one, but it sucked compared to this one :D

Hey Nic, I just bought your phone. I just put in BLT.

Where is the download or literature section? I'm looking everywhere.

I hear the happy one sounds good. Does anybody have it? Are there any good tones out there?

Pretty basic this one, but one of my favourites as a ringtone. Some tunes, no matter how good, don't transfer well to monophonic tones.

Unfortunatly, my phone got busted by me jumping in a poll with it in my swimsuit's pocket...

I now have an Ericsson color phone with polyphonic ringtones.. however, I refuse to use them, that would seriously be too much....

I miss a Nokia phone though...

I'm avoiding buying a polyphonic handset because any that I've seen don't allow tone composition. Most downloadable tunes are crap. Good to see this thread at the top, maybe we can get some more JD/NO/Side Projects ringtones. Help me here; I'm on a crusade to counteract those bloody annoying Brittany/Destinys Child/Aguilera etc. etc. ringtones that 99% of the population seem to favour. :nonono: Let's bring some class to the mobile networks! :D

Hum, obviously, different country, different habits.

Here, people either have the "Nokia Song", if some lame rings pre-programmed, but 90% of people have standard ringtone..

I have the Sony/Ericsson polymorphing tone, it's not agressive, and it's not loud..

someone posted a link to a japanese site recently but it got lost in the forum upgrade. i d/loaded all the new order tunes off it and have em on my sony/erricson t610. some top tunes there are too. but why do some of you not seem keen on polyphonics :nuts: mine rocks big time ,its even got a version/alike of dance-ejay on it where u can compose and mix ure own tunes:). if anyone wants any of these tunes pop us an e-mail and ill wiz em off to you. all are polys though and list inc/love vigilantes/blt/confussion/blue monday/thieves/lonsome tonite/true faith and a few others.

Great songs so far. Blue Monday is great. Even the wife likes it. And LWTUA is really good, but you need to get rid of the 4- and repeat the song a second time to get the feel of it. BLT is ok but you have to try to understand it.

The only problem I'm having is you can only put one song in at a time. I have empty spots, but it keeps erasing the last song I put in.

Maybe we can have a section in the media for ring tones? What do you Nic?

Well, all I found was ways to make you PAY to get a ringtone.. I was almost about to buy CLOCKS by Coldplay because it sounded too real.

However, I'm interested in all you got! I have a Sony/Ericsson T310

I downloaded Blue Monday from AT&T. Its obnoxious as hell. tried to switch to a quieter ring. No joy. I never answered the bastard. I'd hear it ring and think it was someone else. So I went back to Blue Monday. Nobody around me uses it.
