it's almost near a million now (not because of me).

the 2015 mix, which is better, only has 230k views.

FILM1 Anyone here seen The Perks Of being A Wallflower? Not the sort of film I'd go to see at the cinema. But after hearing some people rave about it, I recorded it off the TV. I guess it could be seen as a sort of Pretty In Pink/Breakfast Club for uh "Millenials". Yes it might make you feel a bit old, but by the end of the film (quite dark!) you'll realise it's way better than Pretty In Pink (Breakfast Club still holds up though). Anyway there's lots of great tunes in it (Smiths, Sonic Youth, Galaxie 500, Cocteau Twins, Bowie), and around 33 minutes in (at a party), Temptation. Oh, also the film isn't really Millenial as it's set in 1991/92.

FILM2 Gold which came out in UK cinemas a week ago (I haven't seen it) reportedly has two NO songs and a Joy Division one (Temptation, BM and Atmosphere)

Good spot. It's by a band I saw at The Garage, Highbury (London) circa 2008/2009. I bought their Get Color album and loved the single Die Slow. Then I kinda forgot about them...

Saw the movie ' Gold' the other week. It's an enjoyable one. It has indeed two songs by New Order in it. Temptation and Blue Monday and Atmosphere by Joy Division.

Blue Monday TOTP is shown and referenced as an influence to Depeche Mode in this documentary around the 29 minute mark:

No it's not old, it's new (depite the square album-shaped screen for most of it). I like this so much, I was tempted to start a new thread for it. NO and UP spotting.

Yesterday when I went for my lunch walk in Brooklyn NY I saw a white guy with the black NO T-shirt with the pink and green footprints from the music complete tour and this morning when I went for a walk I saw an Asian girl with the grey T-shirt with the eye in the middle of the pyramid.

A film, So Well Remembered, with John Mills, Trevor Howard and Martha Scott, was on tv. It was a splendid drama, filmed in Macclesfield,1947

There's part of an AOC instrumental cover in Wayne's World. I often use that fact to break the ice at parties. I don't get invited to parties very often.
