Ah bugger i deleted a ton of emails yesterday including accidentally the one with my tracking number for Hermes delivery so i've not a clue if it's out for delivery today or not.Deleted my trash folder as well.Guess i'm going to stay near the front door all day and keep an ear out.

Liking the Hallo Halo mix in places. Not that fussed about the Tom Trago's Crazy Days mix or the Richy Ahmed one.Hot Chip mix is still by far the best of the bunch for me and the one that i've given and will give repeated listens to.

The Hallo Halo mix is the one I've been favouring of recent. I like it's acid overtones.

So the extended version on the CD is different to the extended vinyl version. Is the vinyl version the same as the one from the box set or all they all different? It's hard to keep up.

Does anyone know if the download card you get with the 12" includes access to a digital copy of Vinyl Edit of the Hot Chip remix or is it simply the commonly available 11:43 version?

They are the CD single tracks. Hot Chip is the full version

No.The link to download the Hot Chip mix is the full 11.43 version that is on the CD.All the remixes on the download exactly correspond to the ones on the CD.Though they are all available in FLAC as well as MP3.I wasn't going to bother as i have the CD but now i've seen they are available in FLAC i'll grab em.

No, different version on the Tutti Frutti 12" vinyl than the extended version on the box set.The vinyl version (Extended Mix 2) is the one that's on the CD single. And don't let negative1 catch you saying it's hard to keep up [:d]

Ok. So the vinyl extended mix is the same extended mix as on the CD. Why don't they just call them both extended mix 2 then to save causing confusion? I'm getting confused as I got the initial album version. Then there was the 2 track download, then the box set extended mix. Now the CD and 12" vinyl. The download code from the 12". The fan mixes and Megamix......

I think I've ended up with about 10 different versions so far. And I'm waiting on my copy of the promo CD to arrive too.

So now I need to ŕip the Hot Chip vinyl edit to mp3 as that isn't part of the downloads? Jesus wept...

Probably whoever was in charge of the info for the 12" vinyl had lost track themselves by that point

New Order store seems to show both the 12" and CD as Out of Stock. Seems a bit soon to run out.

I've not really paid attention to this "exclusive" Japanese Remix 12" of Tutti Frutti but as some have already posted it's by Takkyu Ishino. I normally buy most of my Japanese imports from HMV.co.jp which is currently showing a release date of 16 March 2016. Hopefully there will be a download card with this 12" too because it's obviously not included in the regular remix pack and I don't fancy hooking the turntable up to my PC for the hundredth time.

By March single number three from Music Complete will probably be on its way?

I read somewhere (possibly erroneously) that the 12" was limited to 2000 copies. Which seems very low. The mercantilist in me has kept my copied sealed for the time being. Possibly until after Christmas as I have a suspicion the boxed set is waiting for me.

Anyone here know if this TUTTI FRUTTI 12" vinyl is pressed in both USA & EURO..?....as in the case with RESTLESS 12" where we have USA & EURO pressed versions.

I've just ordered the 12" plus CD from groovesland, presumably it comes from Germany therefore will be EURO-pressed....so just wondering if I should bother order another set from USA bcuz most USA sites shows pink background cover (similar to promo CD cover) instead of yellow....or they simply put on a stock picture not bothering about the actual item..???

Thanks [:)]

The Restless green vinyl was limited to 2000 copies so that sounds about right. I had to open mine and play it though.

Yeah they are robbing bastards if you put it like that.I bought the Tutti 12" because i like playing vinyl but also bought the CD but only because i want to collect all the Music Complete CD singles and have the whole set in the singles slipcase.Didn't even play it, i just downloaded the FLACS from the download code on the vinyl release. And those i've only played on my PC a couple of times, wasn't overly bowled over by most of the mixes.I like the Hot Chip one a lot but if i want to listen to that i'll chuck the vinyl on the turntable.

I've only bought the CD single (oh and the Download of the HC mix and radio edit released a while ago) this time.

But in terms of people owning the two 12" tracks digitally, you're saying that the 12" mix on Side A = 12" Extended Mix Two on the CD. So that's easy. The Hot Chip Remix Vinyl Edit is I'm guessing the same as this (?):

But please correct me if I'm mistaken, 12" owners.

I can understand that those who bought the 12" feel they should have the Vinyl Edit available as a download. Mute surely could have made it happen. Perhaps as a next-best-thing, people could rip the audio from the video? Might not be very ethical but if you've spent the money on the tracks, it's not exactly stealing. I also believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that unless you have a USB turntable, the quality of audio you get from connecting a turntable to your PC won't be very high. So you'd probably be better off just ripping the youtube vid. (Yes, I know a proper download would still be better, before someone says it...)

If I'm wrong about the above video, then uh, this whole post falls apart!

Correcto, Debaser. The vinyl edit Hot Chip mix on the 12" is the YouTube one you posted and the vinyl Extended Mix Two is exactly the same as the one on the CD.

I haven't got a USB turntable but i have the gadget to connect my old Technics turntable to my laptop using this:

Honestech VHS to Digital 7.0.It pretty much copies anything you want to digital be it old VHS stuff, TV box recordings, old cassettes and vinyl.I've got satisfying results from it to my ears and eyes at least but others may not be so happy with it.It's good enough for me though.Like you say though if i wanted a digital of the Hot Chip vinyl edit i'd just rip the audio from YouTube using ClipGrab - it's very simple to use.

Just remembered that the Honestech digital converter kit doesn't come with a jack splitter cable which you need when you transferring vinyl and cassettes to digital.I just went to have a go at transferring some vinyl and couldn't find the jack splitter that i had bought separate when i got the Honestech kit but can't locate it and it seems lost so ordered a new one off Amazon (they're only about £0.80 for a basic one). So no transferring for me til that arrives in the post

They are not honest to tell us the Extended mix on the 12" is not the same on the CDS!
