Blue Monday didn´t get a vote. That´s an interesting thing. I didn´t expect it to happen, surely.

HERE TO STAY.

Temptation is the best song of all time, but.....it's on Substance....hence my other choice.

It surprises me that no-one else has voted fer it!

the real point is Temptation on Substance is NOT the Temptation from the 12" released 5 years earlier...should have voted for Ceremony/In A Lonely Place...a huge step and great courage from Sumner, Hook and Morris.

I just downloaded the 1983 Confusion. It's great!!!! It gets my vote.

I think Temptation gets a little old after a while (I like it, don't get me wrong) - so it comes down to Ceremony or Procession - I go with Procession by a nose.

Temptation 7" version. Is that the one on the new box set? I've never found it anywhere on cd, so here's hoping..........

"True Faith" because it was the first song I heard from them and I never get tired of it. That's not taking away anything from "Blue Monday" or "Temptation" though. They are right up there too.

What he said...

Also, I noticed that "Subculture" is on the list. That's on Low-Life. Not me, but the album. It's just a later mix, and at that rate where is "True Faith-94", "Nineteen63-95", and so on...

EGG for me, every time.

Whilst Temptation and Blue Monday would be up there too, EGG is just a classic in it's own right, and still raises the old hairs on the back of the neck when I play it, 22 years on :)

It was a really hard choice ...but I had to pick "Temptation". Too tempting. :P

It has to be Blue Monday, although Here To Stay and Procession are very close behind. But Blue Monday was a huge step into the world of electronica, and is considered the first "techno" song ever. And is the #1 best selling single of all time. And is the #9 song that changed the world.

"Murder", it's so unlike any other newOrder song i have ever heard, i didn't even know it was them when i first heard it on the radio (thanx Billy at EON-FM) and i love the soundbite from "2001"

What´s your favourite non-album single?

Isn´t Sub-Culture on Low-Life album ?

I vote for Ceremony cause it´s one of my favourite Joy Division songs and Sub-Culture is my top 5 New Order.
