New Monaco LP would be very welcome. I enjoyed both those albums for a long time.

Agreed. New music is what's needed now. I hope he calls it Monaco Complete.

I'll go with this. Hook needs to get on and produce something new again and IMO by far his best 'solo' stuff was done with Pottsy, Leadfoot et al.

The original Monaco album "Music for Pleasure" not only contains some fantastic tracks but also has a title which conveys a real positivity he might like to embrace again now that 'matters have been settled.'

But I think calling it Monaco Complete (even tongue in cheek) might not be the best idea - hows about 'More Music, More Pleasure'?

Yeah a new Monaco Album would be great, Music For Pleasure was a great album, I didn't like the second album from them that much, all these years I am sure Peter has so many ideas in his head to make great music again

Clearly the settlement was a compromise as they nearly always are. Neither side could win.

But only one side could afford to lose and that's a big factor when it comes to negotiation.

I've bought a couple of t-shirts at Hooky's gigs in Oz here - it is interesting the words 'New Order' & 'Joy Division' are omitted in these merchandise.

There is one tee with HOOKY 17 printed at the back and the number 17 is made of tiny words which are names of bands Hooky's been it like Monaco, Revenge, Stiff Kittens, Witchdoctors of Zimbabwe, etc but not a word of New Order or Joy Division.
