That's why I propose a closed group on FB, to avoid those kinds of posts.

How about asking Hooky to chip in on the running costs, now he's got a bit more spare cash knocking about? He's had plenty of free publicity for his books off the back of this site over the years... ;o)
If the end truly is nigh, I can only add my support to the formation of a closed NOOL group on Facebook. The existing ones are becoming increasingly full of fuckwits (in among the genuinely decent sorts, obv).
It's not just NO fanpages but 90% of pages. I'm not a snob, but after researching Ingmar Bergman for 5 years, do I really need to log on and read, 'hey giys, whats the name of thats ingrid burgman film where the dude plays scrabble with mr death??? sounfds AWEOME!!!'?
I'm also questioning the $125/month hosting I have two sites - one costs me €9.90/month, the other is €180/year for fairly unlimited hosting so no matter the exchange rates, 125/month seems crazy!
I would also be willing to throw some cash at the problem. This is one of the last forums around and i'm so thankful for that. Us geezers need excitement and FB groups aren't doing much of that. Although I am in two KLF groups that have been clashing for about a year.
