does this german look like his pic or what, yer giving me nightmares...
I'd say "Age of Consent" live from the "BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert" album...
"Just what da fook you want me to!"
Barney sounds pretty pissed in that concert. And what I don't understand is that you can actually hear the audience making fun of New Order and calling Barney a "fag" and whatnot.
Everything Bernard says between songs in the Kohl concert before Robbie Williams... classic.
August 1985 for BBC 2 Round The Clock, live about five o'clock in the the afternoon whilst singing Blue Monday amongst technical difficulties;
'I'm quite sure that they'll tell us What the fuck we should'
I thik it was the first time I heard bad language on terrestrial TV before 9pm!

9/18/87 during The Perfect Kiss
"Tonight I should have stayed at home playing with my BIG FAT COCK"
"I'm not a cunt, I'm not a cunt, I can hear you, and I know what you look like". Can't remember the gig though - may have been Birmingham

There are so many classic examples....Timbo usually comes up with quite a few fer these type questions.
Donnie B, fer swearing during a song, I agree with you me ole mucker. But when they came out at Reading, this put everyone in the mood to go mental. Fantastic day out as well
Also agree with Nicos Le Blanket, the Cologne shows is one of the funniest ever.....if not THE funniest![]()
On the original 12" version of 'Confusion' there does seem to be some hilarity in the chanted 'why can't you see' bit near the end.
I'm damn sure that I can hear someone say 'wanker' (possibly by accident) which is immediately followed by someone else saying 'wanker' much more deliberately.
I recorded the song to CDR a couple of years ago, so I'll work out where it comes as far as timing goes and post that up here, but bear in mind that I never listen to the 1987 version of 'Confusion'
Fookin Housemartins indeed.

I'm pretty sure they all end up going "wanker.. wanker.."
I know Barney throws in a "fuck" somewhere on the "Twisted Tenderness" album, but I don't remember it being all that humorous. Still, I think it's his first offical studio recorded "fuck", so I give him credit for that.
... in 1986 on tour in Finland Steven Morris is clearly audible muttering: 'the ba@!*rd pasties are cold' after a delivery of meat pies finally arrived 3 mins. late, prior to the first ever performance of Bizarre Meat Pie Triangle.

"when you reached out in your sleep, and felt my big fat cock"
from an old live bootleg of "lonesome tonight"
