NME have just voted love will tear us apart as the greatest single of all time.

This is a great achievement when you look at the rest of the list, i.e Beatles, Nirvana, Clash ,Oasis and the fact that the list covers the full life of the chart which is 50 years.

of course good to see credit where credits due, but, is this as a result of a reader survey or just some "expert panels opinion" ? :skeptic:
