Notoriously hard to find anywhere (at least, I can't get it anywhere) I was just wondering if anyone had figured this out? Sorry to be a pain but my band are hoping to have a crack at it next gig we go and it'd be nice to do it properly :)

Think Dminor, F and C are in there somewhere.. just can't put my finger on the others.

Try the bassline: 'D', 'F', 'C' then 'A' - follow chords around this for intro.

Then 'D', 'C', 'B' then 'A' - for bridge.

Back to 'D', 'F', 'C' then 'A' (intro) for chorus.

True Faith is a 4 chord trick. If you can manage to stick the bridge in it will sound better. Hooky's bassline starts also on 'D', you should be able to work the rest out by ear.

If you want to add a nice touch, remember to stick an octave harmony (higher) on Barney's chorus. No hard work, just Barney singing the same melody an octave up... must have been a harmonizer as its very high (for Barney).

Actually guys, I have worked out a fair bit of Barney's guitar bit and Hooky basslines also - maybe we could petition Seb and Nic to get a guitar tab section put on the site? CTD

Yes!

As a novice bassist, I would love to see some of Hooky's basslines in tab here.

Actually, the TABLATURE section was in the original plans for the site. The old version of the site even had that option in the Literature menu. We took it off because we knew nothing would go online anytime soon.

I have the New Order Music 1981-1989 book (FOR SALE) and everything was scanned for the purpose of putting it up the site, but then, copyright issues arose.

I'm not sure we'll put them online, now.

Seb.

P.S. Anyway these tabs aren't good anyway -- they're only for the melodies, and not the whole songs.
