i don't know...revillo opened up a real can of worms there. although i must say i'm a bit guilty myself of stoking some fires!

Yeah, I agree that the Revillo thread caused the most uproar. I'm a bit embarrased at my own ferocious posts in that one. I think I was still a bit pissed off about Sept. 11 and the role that religion (rightly or wrongly) played in that.
Just to modify, I believe spirituality is important. It really is individual choice as to which church you attend or don't, but all religions have just as much postive as negative. My personnal faith, wayward as it is, is rooted in the Christian ideal of salvation for anyone, no matter how they screwed up, so long as they admit their mistake and are honestly apologetic. Fundamentalists in any faith are the real problem, but not everyone is a bigoted zealot. God IS a concept by which we measure out pain, but he (or she) is also a comfort. Anyway, all apologies to anyone I may have offended.

that's the beauty of free speech. i have very few regrets about what i post on this board except for the time i accused some guy of being a spammer. all apologies to that guy if he's here!

Sometimes I get carried away, and a few of the responses in the Revillo thread reveal that. But again, the beauty of free speech is that you can trip on your own tounge...

I have just read the STONE ROSES thread for the first time.What a pile of crap.And to anyone who thinks that i was KAREN JAMES/IAN CURTIS i would ask WHY!A complete novice at wind up and not at ALL clever at one liners.Why did you tolerate such bad posting then?
Must say in the RELIGION one...remember i only came here in MAY 2002...so have not read this either....that HUNTSMAN yet again stole the show with his KENTUCKY comments.I remember myself getting a blasting for my NON RELIGIOUS beliefs months later so won't upset ANYONE this time.I have been warned enough...and taken heed!:D
