I was watching this video today. It seems that this is the song that john frusciante and flea wrote with bass lines "alla" hooky. there is something very familiar about it but somehow something keeps missing: hooky. despite flea is a great bass player (one of the bests in my opinion) he can´t get emotion through his interpretation. maybe is the way he plays (with his fingers instead of the usual pick hooky uses). every time I imagine this song played by hooky instead of flea I just can´t help thinking it´d be a lot better. because is not a bad song as a matter of fact. maybe they´ll invite him on stage sometime, who knows?

Aren't RHCP big JD fans? I'm sure I've read somewhere that a couple of them have played in a JD covers band.
I like the singles of the album. Any one know what the reat of it is like?
The Chili Peppers did a showcase for their new album in germany a few months ago. I saw them perform and Flea had an "Unknown Pleasures" button on his bass. 
chad smith and dave navarro participated on the JD tribute album a means to an end. they collaborate with Honeymoon Stitch on a version of day of the lords. never listened to it, don´t know what it sounds like.

Am I wrong to think that Dave Navarro was the worst thing that ever happened to RHCP?
RHCP are ridiculous and their music sucks. Rock n Roll for frat boys or funk for kids who have no soul.
