New Order "Summer Nights" Bootleg-CD ???

I've just bought a certain "Summer Nights" bootleg-CD from New Order on eBay (Original, no CD-R). Does anyone know this one? It says it's been recorded in Queensland Australia 20.2.2002 and Sydney 26.1.02. Any comments on soundquality or something ???

I don't know what the sound quality is like but you can almost always find it on the Australian ebay ...

Its recorded from the Big Day Out broadcast if I remember correctly. Excellent sound quality.

well, that makes me even more unpatient...but it's recorded from two gigs. Were they both broadcasted on radio ???

Does it have Olivia Newton-John on the sleeve ?

Benny - I hate to disappoint, but the cover is a knock off of GetReady. I suppose you'll have to make your own. And if you do, maybe you'll share?

The CD is from two gigs in OZ in '02. The first 8 tracks or so are from a radio broadcast (minus True Faith I think) and the last 5 are from a television broadcast of a different show. W/o my copy in front of me, I can't be 100% certain. Maybe one of our friends from Down Under can help clarify which gigs these tracks are from?

i bought this last month. sound quality is very good. packaging was quite nice compared to some bootleg cd's i have bought. i recommend it.

The Queensland gig is more commonly known as 'Gold Coast' as it was at the Parklands, Gold Coast. It's just south of Brisbane.

Got my copy today. Absolutely worth the money! Nice booklet, great sound quality, fine setlist incl. Love Vigilantes and a "heavy guitar" Blue Monday. Very nice addition to my collection
