Alright.. I now need your help to update the discography

Here is the french International tracklisting, what I need is to know if there is a different tracklisting on ANY other versions.. and if the equivalence are right of course.

And is the UK version available or is it all german imports in the UK right now (will there be any domestic UK release!)

Is the sleeve color different in any countries?

All those kind of info, or else I will spend hours in the forum finding those informations ;)

Thanks.

Nic...

that looks like all the same info that my copy has...but unfortunately, I've got no idea as to where this was "released" from???

mine was made in Germany...but the post mark on the envelope was from oh...Hong Kong, or some other Asian place...

of course...my copy of Get Ready (ordered from Amazon.co.uk) was also made in Germany...

maybe in these days of the new EU, compact discs can only be produced in Germany???

can you give us the track listing for the second French cd.

Temptation is the 87 version, and Round & Round is the regular 12" version, not the one credited. Lets Go is the vocal one from the 1963 CD single, that fades out.

There's a new interview with Peter Hook on german online-magazine www.laut.de

http://www.laut.de/vorlaut/interviews/2002/12/03/03858/index.htm

Hooky says that there won't be any "International"-release in the UK! The reason for this is the release of the "Best Of"-collection in 1994. Only in the UK it sold halfway well, the sales in the rest of the world were pretty poor. So all you're gonna get is the german import i guess.

There's no good reason to have this other than to complete one's collection... nothing new. i'm not suprised by the lackluster sales.

That would makes sense, given the title "International", and the fact a boxed set covers most of the tracks on there anyway. My French import with the second disc only set me back £14 from the French version of Amazon, including postage, so I wouldn't buy any UK version even if it did come out.

It doesn't sound to me as if any tracks have even been remastered on 'International'. Have you heard the state of 'Blue Monday' on there? It sounds like a direct digital copy from the horrible 'Blue Monday '95' "original version" - you know, the one where the first few beats are missing and the sound quality flutters in and out towards the end. methinks they've gone back to the master tapes one too many times with this song! They should have just done a direct copy of the 'Substance' digital version and boosted the volume a bit!

The cover looks nice when you have the CD there in your hand, and I like the completely white discs too!
