Favourite NO Video Release

The list doesnt include bootlegs or tv broadcasted gigs, just official releases that were commercially available in the high street stores.

Not every official video is included here as some were extremely limited and hard to get hold of thus making them widely unavailable.

Oh and 316 is included because i felt like it ;)

"316" just because it has an amazing quality. For VHS-tapes standards i would've said "Academy"...my first ever New Order LIVE-experience

DVD- 3 16 ( for now, ahah...) VHS- Neworderstory

I decided against a specific DVD poll until everyones had a chance to see 511 as it would make for a rather one sided contest!!

im from america so i havent seen the dvd quality of 316 i voted for neworderstory the 2 hour + version of course

All are fine choices. (the best of) New Order should probably be on the list as well. I remember it being a bit pricey for me as I had to import from Japan to obtain an NTSC version.

Err, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I don't own NOstory, so I went with PFD as that's the one I watch most often.

What about 'HERE ARE THE YOUNG MEN'? Surely that must take a place on this poll. Ok, its Joy Division, but in my belief, it should still take a place amongst all new Order Musical items.

I have to admit that the quality of it is very low budget, but thats what makes it amazing! The raw energy & intensity that Ian portrays is incredible! Whos with me!!!!!

I went for PFD, as it was a pretty accurate record of a decent show from my favourite live era. Pity they cut three tracks out of the recording, but it wouldn't be New Order if it was complete and 100% accurate, would it ?

I listed PFD as my fave vid a long time ago in my profile, ok the crowd is shocking and the performance "artificially fuelled"

But i still love it and TTON is just sensational :D

I like the first newOrder release because it shows them dealing with the Ian Curtis myth and over coming it and becoming a new band with there own agenda for the future.
