What do you people think of Barney's dancing and facial expressions during live performances ?

I was watching the Reading 98 DVD the other night and was shocked !!!!

But I suppose it is his trademark...........(hic)

A friend who's a nurse reckons Barney's pouting and sticking his tongue out is a classic symptom of over use of drugs, and can be seen especially in those who are on drugs for mental health / psychosis problems. Though it appears worse on the previous Reading video. Any doctors out there?
