Alright...

Apparently the 7" version of R&R on the original 7" is 3:31, meaning this is an exclusive version only on vinyl.. true or false? or is it the same damn thing than on the CD single?

There is Round & Round 12" Version and 12" Remix.. the 12" Version aka Extended Version is the common one (clocks at 6:50 on my CD), but the 12" Remix, what is that? it seems only available on US releases, clocks at 6:53 and it can't be the Extended Version because on the 12": US 1989 (Qwest 9 21062-0), both are present.

Clock time is pretty close to the BEN GROSSE MIX, which clocks at 6:51 in my mp3.. so I guess this is it.

And there is the "LP edit - Chris Lord Alge Mix", which is also only available on US releases...

I'm going crazy here, let's see what the New Order discography website has to say:

Now the NOOL website has to say:

New Order Round & Round Single Versions 7" Version 4:00 New Order Round & Round Album Versions 94 Version 3:59 New Order Round & Round Album Versions Album Version 4:29 New Order Round & Round Remixes Ben Grosse Remix 6:51 New Order Round & Round Remixes Club Mix 7:11 New Order Round & Round Remixes Detroit Mix 6:29 New Order Round & Round Remixes Extended Version 6:50 New Order Round & Round Remixes LP edit - Chris Lord Alge Mix 3:47

Which versions am I missing?

Thanks a lot.. you'll be seeing a lot of these in the next few days, I had the permission from this website to use their data (with proper credits of course) to finish our multimedia discography, but damn, the clock time are either wrong sometimes, or the same thing has 2 different times.. it's very confusing...!!

I'm trying to adjust my times with my current collection, but what I have is the canadian cd..

What a mess!

Not sure if it helps any, but heres what I can tell you based on the UK formats I have:

Twelve inch version : additional production by Stephen Hague (6:50)

Club mix : mixed by Ben Grosse and Kevin Saunderson (7:09)

Twelve inch mix : mixed by Ben Grosse (6:51)

Detroit mix : mixed by Kevin Saunderson (6:28)

And to think that the french bonus international disc has "Kevin Saunderson" mix for the 12" Version...

It's the only thing he didn't do!!

Thank you for that info, there is no credit at all on my CD Single... except for the sleeve...

I've got the lowly 7" single with best&marsh on the bside,

OK. The 12" Remix were mixed by Ben Grosse and it´s 6:53, according to my vinil. The 12" Version is the Stephen Hague mix (6:50 on the vinil, 6:51 on the CD :)) which were mislabeled on the CD (6:39)

I'm not aware of any 3:31 seven inch version. My FAC263 seven inch has the normal, 3:59 Stephen Hague produced seven inch verison on. As for that 'Chris Lord Alge Mix', I've never heard or seen it, but I've always assumed it's the American LP edit, which is 3:47 - maybe he did the (poor) editing on it.

Yes it's the american LP edit... done by Chris Lord Alge.

Thanks for the info on the 7".. as I was guessing, the New Order Discography is wrong again :nonono:

Well, they did an incredible job, so :thumb: to them...

CD3: UK 1989 (Factory FACD 263R) * 7:10 Round & Round (club mix) 6:52 Round & Round (twelve inch mix) 6:28 Round & Round (detroit mix) CD5: UK 1989 (Factory FACD 263) 3:59 Round & Round (seven inch version) 5:10 Vanishing Point (instrumental making out mix) 6:50 Round & Round (twelve inch version) 3:31 Best & Marsh (seven inch version)* Product is titled "Round & Remix".

Ha ha ha! I've got the CD5 FACD263. The title on the sleeve is "Round and round", but that on the CD is "Round and remix", which is supposed to be that of the CD3 FACD263R!
