I feel that all the current polls are very important in learning about everyone's preferences when it comes to NEW ORDER, but I feel that an important one that has been overlooked (while Ive been on here anyway) is this particular one!

Vote away & all your comments are welcome!!!

ENJOY!!!!!!!!

This has been discussed ad nauseam, but not done as a poll as far as I am aware. Someone's bound to want to know why 1963 hasn't been included though !

I was just gonna ask meself, but I reckoned it's the same reason why EGG was left out - subsequently released as an A side. I was gonna vote "Hurt" purely cos of that classic "one-two-three-four" intro, but in the end plumped for "other", i.e. EGG.

"Lonesome Tonight"...as usual. By the way "Player in The League", "1963", "Such A Good Thing" are also missing!

I think we have the "best b-side" poll already... look in Resources>Polls it's there.

Flip the tape over and listen to it again, knucklehead.

Well, it doesn't matter, as this is the first such poll i've seen on it anyway - I've nominated "Dont Do It" cos it's great - really sinister voices on there! Why can't all New order's "experimental' b-sides be as good as this?

"1963" hands down!

That was the reason why both 1963 & EGG were left out. Something I should have explained from the beginning. This is a b-side & PURELY B-SIDE based poll!

If a song originates as a B-Side, is it not always a B-Side in a collector's mind. And what if the version released as an A-Side at a later date is a different version from the B-Side? Isn't the B-Side still a B-Side since that version of the song was never an A-Side?

That is why I included the 'OTHER NOT LISTED' box. Of course fans are entitled to their own opinion, but this is my opinion. You do have a very good point, but I just wanted to produce a poll that concentrated on B-sides & B-sides alone, whether there are different versions or not.

Where is 1963. the new order mix of REGRET is dull and boring.

Lonesome Tonight is one of New Order's greatest tracks IMHO, not just B-sides, but I also think that Kiss of Death is completely under-appreciated.

Voted for In A Lonely Place. They could have labeled both sides as A-sides I think. Reminds me of a record that I bought and that was suspiciously cheap. Playing it and turning sides made me think I either missed something or drank too much: the same song on both sides. It was not a JD/NO recording however. Have there been misprints like that? (could be a thread if not done already?)
