Prepare for the worts topic in this board history.

So...

Who's your fave NO member ?

Well, I would say Gillian cos she's really charming and she's the girl. Then again, Hooky has to basslines that can make you cry. Then again, Stephen is really charming too. Then again so's Barney. Then again, I named my cat after Gillian. Then again...

Who's the sick fuck who came up with this topic ?!

Barney's been my hero for about the last 10 years

I'm quite fond of the drum machine myself. :smoking:

If New Order ever collectively owned a sparrow I would like that the best. Otherwise, I'd probably choose John.

John ? Who's John ?

Hooky. All-round diamond geezer and heart-beat of the Order. Only one who actually comes across as a bona-fide 'fan' when you speak to him..

Hey AJ any news on that Love Dance guilty or not guilty situation?

It's always been Bernard, until recently. Bernard now seems to have some sort of an ego, and I'm not particularly fond of his abuse of swearing (which might be funny sometimes though). A few weeks ago I was wondering: if I were to meet with the member of New Order, who would I be the more comfortable with? And the answer was Gillian and Stephen. They seem to be very simple and down to earth.

Ad for Peter? Well, I'm sure he's a nice guy too, but he tends to be a bullshitter sometimes. :)

Barney, because he's so damn cute! Nah, but it's hard to say, because I like all four (and kudos to whoever mentioned Gretton. He was essential---we would've never heard of 'em without him), but if I absoulutely HAD to pick......I'm sorry, but as lead singer Barn gets my nod. Now that's if I had to choose, but I don't believe in that (Now all the "that's BS, Trev" will start up, based on my past opinion polls, right?)

Hmmm...this is a tough one...I think Barney is pretty fooking cool...but I did once light Hooky's smoke...so...which one do I pick???ahh...hell...they are all my favorite members...

My favorite member of NewOrder has to be Stephen...because he looks like he is having soo much fun when he is playing the drums....

I also thought that he told the funniest story in the NewOrderstory video about how he would have to pay in order to get into the Hacienda; and then there was Gillian's sister who would get in free because she looked like gillian. Stephen was soo insulted that he would even have to pay for his own drinks. Barney was laughing hysterically at Stephne when he was telling the story and then there was Hooky who was gazing into the camera like a nut!!!!!

Later all!

OOH! OOH! I've got one! What member of New Order do you most resemble?! I think my girlfriend and I look quite like Steve and Gillian. Only...um...not old. And less English looking.

I'd like to think I might resemble Ian Curtis, only with glasses ( in truth I probably bear just a passsing resmeblance to a cured ham, actualy)

I used to be told that I was a "Barney-look-alike".

Now that I'm going older, I think that is less and less true... but then again, maybe it has to do with the fact that I used to get a very similar haircut as he did. :)

Damn groupies!

Gary Condit could pass for a Barney look-alike.....

Well, the guy who first got me interested in JD/NO told me he thought I looked like Ian, so I've stuck with that in the face of naysayers who accuse me of resmembling Henry Kissinger.

BTW, up to 69 posts. Let's see you make something funny of THAT!

Ahhh....Sebsy....

did you try to replicate Barney's do as well??? I spent about 3 years trying to get mine to look like his, and damn if I could never quite get it right...there were a couple of years where I went out trying to dress like him in the perfect kiss video as well...would you say we might be just a tad bit obsessed???

Count me in for the Barney-do. I'm still getting shaved sides and back with a floppy top light brown beauty. There was a time very recently when the Barnstormer resorted to shaving the entire scalp aka Keauna Reeves in the hit film the Map-trap but now he has returned to the 80's with a vengance. All he needs to do now is stop eating fat and he'll be back where he belongs.

Usually if I watch the LWTUA video, I get inspired to not shave for a few days, get some nice fuzz like Ian's got in that one. I also become shaving-reluctant when I see Thom Yorke on the telly (if he can pull it off, why not me?)

I used to model myself on Chris Lowe of PSB before I realised they were gay icons...Trying to stand around looking all moody in a crap hat and shades... Another mistake.

I needed to buy new glasses, so i thought about getting frames similar to Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo (i.e. the Buddy Holly shades). When I looked at myself in them, I realized it wasen't me. So now I've got oversized specs similar to Elton John's in the Seventies!

I once obtained a carrot and stook it on my nose to look more like Worzel Gummidge. It wasn't until I was nearly burnt to death by the Crowman before I realised it was a very, very bad idea.

'stook'?

Nop, not even H can understand the word 'Stook' on its own.

ok...what on earth does 'stook on my nose' mean?

Is it northern for stuck? ;)

Oh eck, I thinks me made a bit of a mess ups with me story.

Oh well, never mind, I'll grow a new one.

I once chased a mongoose towards the end of a cliff. It got stuck on a rock, so I did nothing but help that poor goose out. Afterwards, he looked up ats me face and did state "Oi, you've gots somethings stuck up yer nose".

There... the word stuck, stuck in its proper context and that.

You going all 'Hooky Monster' on me Huntsy? :p

How dare you sir... it'll take more than a jibe about the Huntsman's Stook for him to part with his friends on bad terminations.

Keep thy faith young Briggsy lad. 'Tis always a light-hearted sentiment whenever the Hunts mocks his pidgeons.
