... Those who like Crass, and those who dislike Crass. I fucking love them, do you? (I am fucking sick of Duran Duran, PSB, Depeche Mode, and Tears for fucking fears being mentioned.)

There's also those that have never heard of them....

My late cat Steven Grimley used to chew 'Grass' as a means to being sick and ridding himself of excess cat hair balls... does that count as a yes?

If no, then I say yes! - Long live Grass, and the Crass brothers.

YES!!! and might I add The Poison Girls and Malaria while you're at it. "So what!" and "Do they owe us living?" are still great classics!

Don't you think Facsy that its more than a little unsurprising that New Order fans might be attracted to these bands you are so sick of, after all, it's not as if they are so far removed from what our heroes churn out, is it? Crass by the way, are pish!! :\puke:

Favourite songs from the gothic german girl-band Malaria btw are: Kaltes klares wasser and Geld.

Tuxedoo Moon - Ninotschka, so things aren't so black & white, eh so there might be more than two kinds of people after all :-)

Er, Fac21, your profile says you're 18! Have you lied? How can an 18 year old REMEMBER Crass?! (Let alone Tears For Fucking Fears)?!

Your Dad must have a decent record collection!!!

My parents were punks, so that`s how i got into Joy Division, Sex Pistols, Crass, The Clash, etc etc, and then I moved on from there... I never listened to the (mainly) crap and commercial New Romantic stuff.

Crass = not my cup of tea (and I'm being polite)

And if you are sick of seeing DD, PSB etc then don't fucking read it! avert your eyes and move swiftly on.....

My point is:

I moved from joy division to new order - thus taking no interest in commercial poppy synth music. NewOrder have punk roots, do you not?

Er, John Lydon is probably the most famous Punk of all time ... and just look at him now. He's become everything he allegedly despised! And then some.

But then again, so have NewOrder (albeit to a lesser extent)
