Since I can't do a poll (I have 800 mb of cover versions), you'll have to submit a cover version for the "Best Cover" poll :)

Worst one? I don't think we'll have to do that, Bizarre Love Triangle by Eight Circle and Paul Young's Love Will Tear Us Apart would win without any challenge.

So here are my nominations, so I'll go for the obvious ones:

Oh God, tie between Get Up Kids "Regret" and the Cure's "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Both two of the best covers I've ever heard.

The Cure's cover is on this site in MP3 and RAM form, and is also easy to find on the dreaded Kazaa.

Ive heard live covers of both love will tear us apart and a brilliant cover of blue monday by Nada surf, not avalible to own, as far asi know...

I think that Kendra Smith does Heart And Soul justice on that JD compilation, and I've got a tape somewhere of one of my fave Aussie bands, The Triffids, doing Blue Monday live.

As for NO, I also like Galaxie 500's Ceremony, and I'd forgotten about Poi Dog's version of Love Vigalantes, which I've had on some promo disc.

I don't care about cover versions, I always thought it was a waist of space here on the site. But I did like Bizarre Love Triangle - Frente.
