Just picked up my Retro in HMV Manchester (along with 5 11)- got it for £27.99 with bonus disc, reduced from 35.99. So that's alright. :)

Who is it who didn't get the bonus disk and where did they buy it from? I'm getting nervous about my amazon order - shoulda switched to HMV, dammit.

Picked it up this dinner (only one they had in stock) and yes its got the bonus :)

Just recieved my 16.99 5 disc copies thanks to HMV, arrived in perfect condition, London to Sydney, Amazing considering its from the UK, usually anything I order from the UK especially vinyl ends up with the corners all bent, whereas those mailers from the USA really pack`em well.

Not sure yet. For some reason my order seems stuck in 'being prepared for shipping' mode on amazon. Very annoying as people ordering it from HMV got it 3 days ago and mine still hasn't shipped yet. I've now nipped out and bought it from Virgin and am attempting to cancel the amazon order, but daren't take the shrink wrapping off the Virgin one yet in case I can't get the amazon one cancelled and have to return this one. Last time I bother pre-ordering anything from Amazon.

I'm not sure yet - hopefully my set comes either today or tomorrow.

Still waiting... I feel like a child on xmas eve :p

Anyone who didn't get the bonus disk should be asking some serious questions of the retailer who supplies it to them. It's my understanding that EVERY copy available just now either in store or from the net has the bonus disk with it. The first run of this set was expected to be somewhere between 3000-5000 units with each one having the bonus disk included. When the next run is manufactured, if indeed a next run is required, there will be no bonus disk with those.

I can't believe it! I didn't have to wait two weeks! Mine just arrived!!!

Got it on Monday but the dam thing jumps after 14mins of Elegia. Cheers HMV.co.uk, got to send it back quick.

My 5 disc set arrived from Siren Disc on Thursday. The packaging is a little unusual. I don't recall anyone on the site mentioning that it came in an outer sleeve. I own quite a number of boxsets but none of the others were constructed this way.

I recieved mine today, a great addition to the collection, but the booklet is a real let down, I expected more, the Heart and Soul booklet was a much better read whilst passing turtles in the dunnie!:jump2:

The booklet indeed really sucks, compared to that of Heart and Soul.

Got mine in today from HMV, so you should be getting yours sometime soon. Yes, even though most of us have like 95% of this already, it still serves as the ultimate "best of". I've got the "Club" disc on repeat right now.

My 2nd disc jumped but after a quick clean it played perfectly.

has anybody else noticed that the Fan CD2 has room for about two more songs! hell, they could have thrown Age of Consent or Love Vigilantes on there even. i guess Broken Promise and Run Wild was more than enough, no more was needed to make this "fan" statement. and did they really need that poor third version of Crystal (live) on the set?... if Barney was so worried about his unsure 80s vocals, why would he want to include this version of live Crystal when he sounds horrid... must want our pity. it hardly seems like a perfect greatest hits collection to me, and even though there are lots of great songs, it seems at times like the selections could have been chosen by a CD changer shuffling. well, i guess they are serious about saying nobody really listens to these things anyway, so its not that important. seems a bit silly to me.

Retro does look nice sitting next to Heart and Soul thou.

err. how come Barney acts like he can't remember anything... is he really that burned out? or just B.S.?
