(insert one of those laughy thingys in here) - That was funny. I love people complaining about things being wrong when the only thing wrong was the way they reached their conclusion without checking the facts.
Haven't listened to all of it, but the first big low was confirming that TPK on the live disc was in fact the Glasto '87 recording that we've all had for years - and not the one from Slough '85 as originally indicated.
got mine today, 1 week across the pond, not bad. just finished listening to the bonus cd and was pleased...more later
Highs: Video version of TPK, full length version of Elegia, original 12" versions of Temptation (though I already had it on CD) and Confusion, very good live version of EGG, live recordings are of good quality and most versions are very good, good idea to choose different themes for the four discs.
Lows: The booklet sucks, album version of TPK rather than the 12" version, album version of Elegia (useless if you have the bonus CD), same version of Ceremony as on Substance and International (they should have put the original one instead), Run Wild (I hate it and, furthermore, it comes in two different versions!), Every little counts (not that I hate it, but I don't see the point in putting it in this box set), incomplete version of Let's Go instrumental, 1995 version of Let's Go vocal (rather than the original 1984 demo), original versions of EGG and Shellshock on the Club disc, 7" version of TBTHOG on the club disc rather than the 12" version on the Pop disc or the Salvation version on the Fan disc, live version of Age of Consent very similar to that of the widely vailable BBC live recording, live version of TPK from this same recording, live versions of Crystal and Temptaton probably very similar to those on 511 (would have prefered older songs instead), Intermission by Alan Wise (funny the first time you hear it, but then you'll have to skip it every time you play this CD), missed opportunity to put very rare songs in the box set.

High: Live version of TPK on the bonus disc is brilliant.
Low: The booklet is terrible. I'm sure that there are pages missing from mine.
Highs - Everyone whining about things out of their control
Lows - Everyone whining about things out of their control

Lows - Too many songs missing that you cannot get on CD anywhere
well, i'd say that the best was procession live, the booklet, and the bonus cd, with not enough live material the only dissapointment.

BUT...after a few listens...it's actually become fairly attractive now...
I thought JS had sent me Budvars signed CD's and the pen had rubbed off for a bit when i first opened my bonus disc 
Its has the most subtle of labelling, and is hard to determine that it is in fact Retro disc5 !
The high: the whole project, though had it appeared as Rob Gretton envisaged it would have been much better.
The lows: too many edited versions on the Club disc, notably 'Regret' and 'Touched...'.The greatest balls-ache is that much of the booklet is taken up by twat John McCready writing on his favourite subject (HIMSELF) while the band under discussion serve as a sort of incidental sidebar.
The high: This boxset prooves New Order are not done, this is obviously not a "career end" box set.
The lows:
I did copies of the CD and will probably never open the box again, not a useful format to bring with you at work, or anything.. the first 2 discs don't have much to offer to the fan that has mostly everything, except the 12" version of Confusion and Brutal (in my case)
Disc 3 contains useful material, but it's not a disc you wish to listen too often.
Disc 4 might be great, I have yet to listen to a version without the 2 seconds gaps did when I burned the mp3 promo on CD the first time.
Disc 5 was a nice attraction, but it was so rushed we got..
The booklet is nice, but it's not useful like was the Heart & Soul booklet.. once you have read it, you will store it and check it once every 5 years or so.
Overall it's a nice product, they could have done better, but well, who are we to judge them! It would however be nice to one day have a "hardcore fan" project selected by the fans for the fans.. this one was for mass public, then the bonus CD was added to be sure the hardcore fans would buy it..

Actually they could have done with putting the gig and date on the back cover for 'live' i found myself thumbing through the booklet to remind myself which live performance i was listening to.

That's what I thought the first time I heard it, some year ago. But since then, it has grown on me, and now I find it really briliant. The more so since this CD version is way better than the old mp3.

You could not hope to find a more perfect example of how you cant please everyone at once!!! 
Having had the full version of Elegia for around 15 years, I never could understand what all the fuss was about ! They didn't manage to say anything less in the 6 minute edit.....

Highs from me (so far) are the live version of Procession and the Paradise remix, but I haven't yet played the whole thing.
Biggest low for me was the Pink Noise remix, which I've never really cared for. The booklet seems to be okay, but I'm glad that the pic of Rob doing a pirouette is in there, I've always laughed at that one.
