Ummm...

What's a cue sheet?

The cue sheet is just a piece of paper with track info, including the times, sometimes it also has info on ads or voiceovers that are included on the record. That is a lousy deal on that record, the 2LP version with the complete show is much more desirable and I've seen it go for less money than the asking price for this one. BBC Transcription discs from that period are not as rare as you might think.

Mr Harmonium is correct - you should also note that it is in fact illegal to make these available for sale and furthermore that this particular transcription disc has been faked/bootlegged very well in past years...

I'm glad to see you haven't abandoned us after all, JS.

In addition to the above, the single LP transcription version is identical to the "Radio one in concert" LP/CD on Strange Fruit, is it not ? If that's the case, you'd be paying a lot of money to get that record with a different label and no picture sleeve.

The single BBC Transcription LP has Ceremony, Subculture and Sunrise on it, which are not on the "Radio One in Concert" CD.

I've never seen the double BBC Transcription LP of this show. All of the bootlegs I've seen of this concert in its entirety were recorded from audience sources. That's not to say that better ones don't exist, I've just never come across them.

Abandoned you all - me, with my reputation? Hardly!

Anyway, just a quick note to point out that when I mentioned that this disc had been bootlegged I meant that it had been literally "faked" in order that the buyer believe he or she was purchasing the real thing. By way of further explanaion, it IS illegal to offer BBC transcription discs for sale as their individual licences exist for transmission purposes ONLY - NOT for sale to the public. See the ads section in every issue of Record Collector post 1991 for further information...
