I e-mailed Amazon US to see if my pre-order of Retro will include the Bonus CD, and the following is their non-answer :nonono: :

"Thanks for writing to us at Amazon.com.

The only information we can give you about a particular CD is what we display on the detail page for that CD. On many detail pages, in addition to the artist and recording label, you'll also find links to track listings, reviews, customer comments, a biography of the artist, a list of musical influences, and other CDs by that artist. All of these links appear in the left-hand margin.

We know that sometimes the amount of information we have may make it difficult to make a purchasing decision unless you already know something about the CD. Our editorial staff is constantly increasing the amount of information we provide about each item in our music store, and we invite you to add to this information by submitting customer reviews for your favorite (or not-so-favorite) CDs.

Thanks for shopping at Amazon.com."

By the way, I received today UK Retro from HMV.co.uk and I love it!!!:clap::clap:

Seeing as how they list RETRO as having "extra tracks" I would think it would be false advertising not to include the bonus CD. I also pre-ordered from Amazon.com and intend to return my copy if it doesn't contain the bonus disc. However, I'm beginning to think that it will be announced soon that ALL copies of the US edition will also contain the bonus disc, as has happened at the last minutes in the UK. Good luck to us both.

I've read they sell is $55 US..

Isn't that expensive? If I remember well, that's the price I'm paying my UK import in Canadian Money.. which has an exchange of 63% !!

My girlfriend ordered it for me from HMV without telling me. I got the Ltd. Edition copy. So did my brother. Then I wnet to see some friends who work in 'Virgin'. They had 10 Ltd. edition copies. The local independant store had 4 Ltd. Went to HMV - 20 copies of the Ltd. edition. SO, if where I live, they have at least 34 copies (didn't check Woolworths, Borders, another independant) is the Ltd. edition really that limited, or have we been 'had'?

Not complaining - I love the Ltd. CD but surely there must be more available than were advertised...? Either that, or 'Sarf' London has really benefitted...

As I said on another thread, the first UK run containing the bonus disc totals 12,000 units. I can't believe that anyone who has ordered it (no matter where from) will not get it.

Retro without the bonus disc doesn't exist yet, does it?
