In any case, everyone knows that the best sport is BASEBALL, and I'm sure our friends from the U.S., Japan and Australia will agree.

the day that the Expos and my Rangers meet in the World Series is the day that we will all know the apocolypse is upon us...and I always thought baseball games were just a good excuse for sitting in the sun drinking beer and eating hot dogs...I have to put a vote in for CFL football as well though. Growing up with only one 50 yard line, you can imagine my surprise when I saw two of them on the Canadian fields.

Heskey? Who actually rates this muppet bar Sven and Houllier. He's crap. Kev Phillips should be in, but as Svenny seems not to like him, it's probably got to be Fowler/Cole unfortunately. It makes you realise how important little Michael is...

I actually like the way Heskey put himself about (when he can remain on his feet) but can't understand why Sven's stuck him out on the wing on occasion. Personally think Sutton should've been given a chance. If we want a big lay-off man who can put himself about a bit Sutton's a more polished article than Heskey at present. Proved it again in the Old Firm on Sunday. Perhaps Sheri and Cole for this one though, being Old Trafford an' all? Or are those two still not talking?!

Didn't realise you'd asked the question, Huntsy. Yep, we'll beat der Greeks - they're in disarray, their only decent players are refusing to play it seems. But it'll be a shite nervy match and we will scrape it with two late goals in the 2nd half. Hopefully not scored by Scousers this time - have you noticed how they're all coming out of the woodwork now? I live in ardent Arsenal territory and you should've seen the types supporting 'the pool' on FA Cup day - ever so plummy they were, doubt they'd ever been within a county of Anfield. Sadly, I'll already be in Scotland before festivities kick off, so will doubtless have to put up with the Croatia game. Was once marooned in Scotland on Cup Final day - Rangers-Airdrie about 10 years ago - it wasn't the same.

Hmmmm....still far from convinced. He had a very good start to last year..as you say when Owen was injured...and then went completely off the boil. He's had one good game for England as far as I can remember-against Argentina in the 0-0. He doesn't put himself about like he should, and is not particuarly sharp in or around the box.

Does that mean you think he didn't play well against the Germans? Personally I thought he was outstanding, as was the rest of the team. But what do I know? I'm just a season-ticket holder at Maine Road

I thought he was completely inconspicuos against the Germans, as he has been in every game under Sven. But with the likes of Wanchope, Goater, Dickov & Co, your standards probably are pretty low..;)

He scored a good goal against the Germans if I remember rightly, or maybe I was well pissed by then? OI Don't be so cheeky; Wanchope was leading scorer in the Copa America, and Feed The Goat has scored nearly 90 goals in 3 seasons - I'm sure you'll agree that's quite a good goals per game ratio by any standards. Anyhows, we have a new hero at City these days, he goes by the name of Ali Benarbia, he's a heck of a bargain on a free transfer. In just 4 games he's scored 3, and set up at least 9. Excellent stuff
