anyone know how extensive the tube strike on friday 12th will be?i.e. is it all services or just some? don't fancy wandering the streets of brixton all night...but it'll be worth it i'm sure

If the strike goes ahead there will be absolutely no tubes. However there's plenty of buses and plenty of people in the same boat who'll be about trying to get back into central London.

From previous experience, Tube strikes do cause a lot of chaos. the selfish greedy twats will be striking all day on the 12th and there will be virtually no tubes running at all. Generally it means the buses and roads are also jam packed. Your best bet is to try to get a BR train to as close to Brixton as possible and walk from there

Are all the unions out? Previous experience dictates that the Vicky Line (ie. where Brixton lies) ends up with about 60% service anyways, so it's not all doom and gloom. . .

I think all the unions are out AJ. Problem is you never know the extent until the day in question.
