I voted for World because Crystal has 2 vowels in it.

Bit of a mad old vote you got going here but I like it, very original! ICB isn't a word but it does have one vowel and is a briliant song so I voted for it.

Oh yeah, since when did "crystal" have two vowels in it??? I prefer the letter 'y' not being reffered to as a vowel mainly because it isn't and I can impress people by naming a seven letter word with no vowels - rhythms! (SAD)

A, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y.

Y can be a vowel depending on how it's used in a word. In this case y is a vowel.

Run... not only does (really) have only one vowel, it has some of the most beautiful sounds of any New Order song.

This is the strangest poll going !

Truth.....sure you could think of a stranger one, Benny!

Maybe we should start a new poll: "Is 'y' a vowel or a consonant?".

"Crystal" got my vote by the way.

I can't say for the international members of this group, but those of us in America learned "a,e,i,o,u, and sometimes y" early in school in english/grammar/reading/spelling class. It depends on how "y" is used in a word. In this case it's used as a vowel.

*sigh* anita

I just don't get the popularity of "Run". I like it okay, especially "Run2", but for me, it's the only slightly weak point of "Technique".

"Hurt" on the other hand, is pretty hardcore, especially the unedited 12" version.

Thanks for the info Anita. I didn't know the answer as I never have properly studied English. In fact I did, but it was 17 years ago. :D

It means all votes for "Crystal" should be declared void, including mine.

This is getting silly.

You ARE taking the piss.

Whatever next?

Best Use Of Brackets In A New Order Song?

Best New Order Album With The Least Number Of Words Without Vowels In Their Titles?

Best Use Of The Word "Head" In A New Order Lyric?

:nonono:

So, you don't like the instrumental ending of this song?

It's just so damn good!

Don't ask me why, but the video helped me into liking this song, when you see the little girl turning, and Barney doing the same on stage, it's just where the peak of the song starts...

Hence why it's my favorite New Order track. I'd love to see it live one day, but I doubt it will happen because of all the legal issues.
