Could you help me out? I am trying to make a compilation of NO's original 12" singles. I know where some of them are, but I don't want to miss some good ones. So, could you please add the singles that have 12's and what CD's I can find them on? I have these 12's already: TBTHOG on International Disk 1 Blue Monday 88 on the CD Single True Faith 94 on the CD Single Round And Round on the CD Single Temptation from Retro Disk 1 Ceremony from Retro Disk 1 Confusion from Retro Disk 1 Blue Monday from Retro Disk 1 In A Lonely Place from Retro Disk 2 Everything's Gone Green from Retro Disk 3 Best And Marsh from Retro Disk 5 Thieves Like Us from UK Best Of

Also, if any of these are wrong, let me know. I am only using CD's, so I am only including 12's that are original 12's found on CD.

Can't think too clearly right now, but I do know my fave Regret mix (Fire Island - side 1 track 1 of the 12) is on the Rest Of compilation. I don't own that particular artefact, so can't say if it's the full version.

The first original single version of Ceremony was never released on CD. The one you mention is the same as on Substance, i.e. the re-recorded version.

Thieves is also featured on International, in a remastered version.

Don't Do It is available on the Fine Time CD

Thanks to the few. Come on all you UK NO fans. Where is your wealth of information on all things NO? Or, is this post beneath you?

Although Retro added Cries & Whispers, MTO, and Best and Marsh - still missing is Run 2. Most of this you might have to find in 12" vinyl and burn a copy to CD. They are out there at a pretty penny. While you are looking for 12"ers, consider Thick Pigeon (w/Gillian and Steven), Shark Vegas (w/Hooky) on Factory Records, Paul Haig (w/Barney) and Sub Sub - “I Know I’m Not Wrong This Time" (w/Barney) is on CD. If you can find it, Round and Round came out on mini CD with MTO, Besh & Marsh, plus Round & Round remixed on Factory. Check the record conventions as they pass through.

You really should invest in Substance. The Rest of would fill in some gaps for you also.

No CD appearance for MTO as of yet.

Ok I should probably know better...but what about the rest of the original confusion remixes? Were they ever released on cd? Compilations?

The Instrumental is on Substance, and the Rough Mix is on the Arthur Baker "Breakin" compilation. As far as I know Confused Beats only exists on vinyl.

I'm sure Mick has transferred this onto CD, along with 84 other versions of Confusion:lol: The easiest thing would be to send Mick a cake with a file in it......it may come in handy in a couple of weeks.....then he'll record anything you want onto disc:nod:

I don't know how any of us would survive without a nice collection of 12"ers
