I am gutted.

Just got back from the match to find some git has broke into my car & nicked my CD player - which had all 5 Retro CDs happily stored in it.

Anyone want a souvenir Retro box - going cheap ?

Wow. That's the saddest thing I've heard all day. Maybe hearing of my stupidity will chear you up a little. I bought a ticket to a Korn concert once, but was unable to attend because of a slight "misunderstanding" with my parents. Out 45 big ones. But I didn't get my ticket stolen from some f*cker, so you win the sympathy award, Jordan.

let us all hope that the fooker installs the changer in his/her own car...then somehow develops a short circuit that causes a tremendous conflagration (I think that's a fancy word for fire...but can't be positive at the moment) which costs him his fire and his life!!!

Nothing violates quite like being ripped off. Perhaps he'll listen to CDs, be influenced, correct the error of his ways, and donate countless hours to city social services for the homeless - Everybody Everywhere in action. I'm sure they will wind up in grateful hands and find a good life as a different spin on an unfortunate circumstance.

Well.. do like me.. only use CDR copies of the CDs in your car... ;)

Yes, I did it to avoid to put the Retro CDs in -10 to -20 temperature, but still.. if someone tries to steal my cd player, I'm saved.

Not if my house is set on fire though... :(

It's amazing really what people will do for that limited edition set.

But seriously - I feel your pain man. Major bummer.

the criminal should be drawn & quartered, then tarred and feathered, or maybe the reverse. and the criminal will have no appreciation of what he has, probably tossed 'em away

That's a lesson I've learned when someone nicked (among others) "Twisted Tenderness Deluxe" CD 2 and I had to buy it again just because of the second CD.

Korn isn't a bad band. One needs to feed their ravenous animal side with heavy metal once in awhile.

They don't mean as much to me as New Order, nor have they ever. But their "Here to Stay" wasn't so bad.

Korn learned to play their instruments by ear.

That truly sucks - commiserations. About 3 years ago they broke into my flat and stole my complete CD collection, which was uninsured (unemployed at the time) and included my complete NO collection, which had just been topped up with a bunch of rarities purchased on a backpacking trip to London. I still cry.

Doesn't particle motion about stop at that temperature (or lack of it)? Jeeeeesus that's cold - your must be talking Farenheit rather than Celcius.

I think copying them is a good idea, but my crappy car CD player doesn't like them too much. Seems to jump at the slightest bump. Normal (purchased) CD's are ok though.

Man that is truly a disaster - makes my current plight seem much less annoying. Mucho sympathy 4u. :(
