Noticed CD Universe selling the 2 disc German import of International for only $20.55 . Acted accordingly and have adjusted my list (on page 3 of this thread).

The 5 track ep sounds superb, by the way.

Anyway - I HAVE AN UPDATE - albeit nowhere near as exhausting as our good friend (Squirrel) Nuts...

I now have FIVE LESS New Order/Joy Division items in my collection.....

And before you all start panting in anticiipation of a goodie-giveaway, let me just stop you right there.....and bring things down to earth.

I already flogged them - to Kingbee Records in Manchester.

Said items?

Oh boy - what a gold mine:

1. Permanent CD by Joy Division - MINT UNPLAYED CONDITION STILL IN SHRINK WRAP. (I have the vinyl - 2xLP - with limited edition insert, and the CD I already burnt a copy from a mate anyway)

2. Shellshock Q-WEST 12" vinyl edition. I picked this up at a bargain price at a Macclesfield record fair years ago, but as I'm no big fan of the song anyway, it was a pretty dispensible item in my opinion.

3. Closer - Joy Division. Original Factory Vinyl album. This copy has a few minor scuffs on the vinyl but plays perfectly. I already have a much more prisstine copy of this, so I decided to part with one. You might still find this one in Kingbee if you're quick. It was still on the New Order/Factory racks when I was last there any rate.

4. BLAU MONTAG - 12". Completely dispensible 12" single. I have the single on CD with a couple extra mixes anyway. Again - might still be on the Kingbee racks.

5. The Rest Of New Order - CD. Bloody useless record. This is probably the least worthy item that has the name New Order on it. No tears were shed when I bundled this one blindfolded and screaming into the bag and over the counter, I tell you.

Now - I have to be on my constant guard that Lorraine, my missus, doesn't start smuggling out any of my prized Echo and the Bunnymen vinyl collection to feed her renewed Morrissey obsession (she was there at the G-Mex gig, soiling her pantees as usual).

Am I the only one who found this thread more user friendly than the new "Collection" feature?

Don't I know it! Hell, I bought a Section25 12" single many years back because the only writing in the sleeve was "Designed by Peter Saville". It wasn't even a really good remix either!! (I think it was LOOKING FROM A HILLTOP)

damn, steinomite! hardly measly! very nice spread. i love the technique advertising promo folder - really nice with the tech-1 and tech-2 cds (took me forever to find tech-2). i think my collection would be considered small - i have some very rare items, but i never bothered to be a completist as some releases from some countries never really mattered to me and i knew it would take up a lot of space. anyhow, i think your collection makes mine look tiny.
