I think this thread was more about the unusual/less mainstream items that people have, rather than a chance for people to show that they have the same as everyone else.

BTW: For the graphics you take from the niaraga site, instead of using 'somegraphic.jpg' you can almost always use 'somegraphicsmall.gif' and get a thumbnail with a height of 150 pixels... Cuts down on loading time.

If it makes you any happier mate, I will resize or delete those images, so it won't clog up your precious comp - and as for your nice polite way with words, one wonders if you are like this with most newcomers here - I wonder if the forum community standards actively encourage their regular users to be as abusive and downright insolent as a couple of you seem to be towards others. I find it incredible that you're now flaming me in such an unwarranted way. And as for your last comment, I think I will have a trawl through the message archives to see if other people are posting lots of successive images up on this forum - including your good righteous self - shouldn't be too difficult to see if I can detect some hypocritical bullshitting going on here. I have plenty of stuff laying around from the early to mid-eighties but the ones associated to be the best memories are laminate passes from both the Sunderland to Heaven tour in 1984 and of course the USA 1989 one (2 including Kims). Neither were purchased or handed down but given in view of the intended purpose, to get in, and around specific NO gigs and everything which came with it.

These are probably the two items which I would not part with but there are several 'top drawer' items which I am sure would make a happy addition to some ones collection for the right price. This includes limited edition Warner Bros. promotional CD singles/mixes which I have not looked at since 1989 which Steve Morris and Gilliam kindly signed for me in Austin and several pieces of similar promo vinyl which hailed from the same era and again has the signatures of both Steve and Gillian.

One other important item is an autographed flyer for a New Order gig apparently never actually played. These flyers were handed out at the first Heaven gig and I thought it would be appropriate if I asked him to sign it prior to the second occasion. After lending him my t-shirt a few evenings prior to this he was happy to do so. Someone offered me a LOT of money for this item not long after that but at the time I was not in the frame of mind to sell it. Things have however changed and I will be framing the item and it will be EBAY bound eventually.

Thanks Floyd and "nuts" for at least sticking up for me. I'm sorry if I trod on peoples toes by doing what I did but I guess I won't now complete the rest of my listings in similar fashion. Mind you I would have loved to have put up a nifty pic of a collage of all my New Order gig tickets I've amassed from seeing them over the years (about 25 UK gigs in all plus the odd European one too - that's not much by obsessives standards, I'd wager)....

I am still hunting down the CD version of Blue Monday 1988 which also includes the video of the song. Does anyone know if the sleeve of that release is in any way different to the ordinary CD version? I'm kinda confused. :(

This could be your lucky day mate. Cos my freind Andrew who lives in Stoke is actually getting rid of some of his prized and rare New Order CDs - he's a fool, I keep telling him, but he wants to clear off about 200 items in his collection of odds and sods of all ages. House move is apparently the reason. I will check if he still has the BM88 video CD (he doesn't care that its worth a small fortune now) and I will email you in due course! :)

yep, the list is still ever expanding! the brotherhood lp is the last one i need,havent got round to it yet. i"ve bought a few more items since i posted the last list too! regards

House move is apparently the reason. I will check if he still has the BM88 video CD (he doesn't care that its worth a small fortune now) and I will email you in due course! :)

You're welcome pal - I've sent an email to Andy, so I hope he gets back to us sometime soon about it. I'm sure he hasnt yet got round to putting the whole lot out yet but I also recommended he take his New Order stuff - whatever he wishes to get shut of - and hand them in at a proper collector shop like Kingbee in Manchester or something, rather than get a pittance from places like charity shops or car boot sales. I'm glad this has been such great news for you! By the way, what kind of money are you willing to pay? I doubt Andy's going to be too cracked on getting a maximum return on this, if anything the shipping/packing will take up more. :)
