So I have this cassette with my favorite version of "BLT" and an awesome version of "The Trouble With Girls". Is there anywhere to get these versions on CD or MP3? I no longer have a cassette player in my system or my cars, although my kids have one of those fisher price tape players, so I can't listen to those songs without the risk of the kids player eating the tape. help. :)

BLT can be found on the "Married to the Mob" soundtrack as it is the Stephen Hague mix.

As for The Trouble With Girls, I think it's the only place you can find that version of Big Bang...

Discography for that item

i own this and could copy the WHOLE tape to CD-R for you at the PLANET ROCKET STUDIO.I am in the middle of a project recording all the 12 inch records first to tape then via tape to PC...finally onto CD-R with some good results. As you own the original this should be ok.E-MAIL at the usual place with you address if you want this done. Yes it would seem that way sometimes.I just don't like people struggling with OLD formats. Now i have set this up and got it working ,although a slow process it does allow me to listen to ALL the old stuff AGAIN.And i like to do my bit for the community.Only you and WOLFMANN(sic) to record for now.i am still searching out something a little SPECIAL for you. Cheers Rocket Mick

Mick - why don't you just put your turntable straight through to PC rather than going via tape? I did this and it worked OK

I second Johnny, as I think they're both different mixes. They're based on the same mix, but I think one of them differs, thus making the DooDooDoo Fac305c mix a unique mix. Is DooDooDoo also on the "married to the mob" mix ?

(also Rocket Mick, do not transfer to tape before encoding to mp3, the resulting sound quality sucks.)

For most systems it DOES but not mine.Several LONG tales told on here about this but still having problems therefore this is the only way that a PERFECT(crappy) reproduction to CD-R is done.N21 note your comments and thanks but STILL unable to actually get round this!:nonono:For those who have actually HEARD the 12 inch/7 inch recordings the RARITY/NOVELTY far outweighs the poor sound quality. So this is ONE solution that has given some pleasure to some NOOL's.But feel free to tell me HOW you have done this.HUNTSMAN went into great depth about this but it never worked for me.And when he got the FAC ALL REMIX he actually said he liked it DESPITE the dodgy quality on certain tracks.:D Cheers Rocket Mick says :hi:

I saw a copy of this Select Factory Cassette at a record fair in Stratford once - but what they were asking for it was rediculous - £18.00.

Is anyone going to stump up that amount of cash for a tape that might well be rather well-played anyway?

needless to say I had to pass on it.

i've already posted an mp3 of 'the trouble with girls', but could post it again, if you haven't gotten it yet..

i didn't check to see if the 'bizarre love triangle(mix)' is any different..

i have the 'married to the mob mix' also, and will be posting that on my site eventually..
