Well, here's to our new Survivor with Substance

Just a reminder, the rules:

  • First person to reply can claim immunity for a song
  • Immunity will stop when 3 songs will be left
  • The song with the most votes is eliminated daily
  • All votes for a song that has immunity are void
  • You can't choose immunity two days in a row

Well.. there is no immunity since Anita didn't pick one.

I doubt it will change the result at this point though ;)

"shellcock"... "shellshock" isn't much of a dance song anyway to me, so i have long dismissed this... thou i have not heard it in over a decade, maybe it kicks ass and i forgot

i actually really really really like most of these songs including "Murder" and the silly versions of "Sub-culture"... this survivor is like choosing among and abandoning pets... i can't do it!!!!

I like Shellshock, it's not their best, but still a great track with a great structure.

OK, I actually listened to Shellshock the other day, and while it ain't the best, it's still pumpin' enough in it's own right. Bizarre Dub Triangle it has to be - a simple rearrangement of the music with horribly embarrassing cut-up vocals does not constitute a valid B side. Would have gone Dub-Vulture but the name is just soooo cool...

And I'm with Benny on Thieves instrumental. It has to make the last 10 at least - such a beautiful piece of music.

Uff, why Shellshock is not appreciated? I like it very much...I voted for Confused Instrumental. I have never been a fan of it. The only instrumentals I really love are Thives like us and Here to Stay (and Elegia).

i had to go with the beach. it sounds like blue monday's bastard incestuous cousin--like they took all the slurry from the blue monday recording sessions and dumped it onto a tape. voila!: the beach.
