Boy, i know you're excited about this one. Since most of you hate rock, this poll was a no-brainer! Especially if the heaviest, most rock-y-est Joy Division songs are nominees! The nominees were chosen only by how heavy they are, so don't fear any bias on my part on the songs I chose. I wanted to include Shadowplay and Komakino, but alas, there was just not enough space. Oh well, you can't have everything.

The whole point of it is to have to make a difficult decision. I didn't see The Only Mistake there, which I genuinely don't like, and I ain't that keen on I Remember Nothing either. Did I miss Colony? Another one I frequently skip...
Anyway, went with the obvious - Novelty.
there is literally not one Joy Division song that i don't actually LOVE. and i mean that literally. but i voted for No Love Lost.
my favorite is, of course, Love Will Tear Us Apart.
Can't really vote for any of them. Almost all of them I like, though I'm thoroughly ashamed to admit one or two I can't remember off hand which track they are. Could you sing a bit of each of them for me to remind me?
No Love Lost is a bit on the badly-recorded side. It doesn't even sound like Joy Division - but then that's because they were at their embryonic period then. I still don't really like it anyway....not easy to listen to. :(
Anything pre "An Ideal For Living", with the possible exception of "At a Later Date" isn't up to much, I think.
"An Ideal For Living" shows major progress.
But just about everything after Martin (Zero) Hannett got involved is awesome.
You can't be serious about No Love Lost... There are no bad songs there, they were just learning on some of them, but that's n reason to write a song off as bad. Enough of the negativity please.
