waynes world2 and new order???

now ive just seen waynes world 2 on the box and wasnt paying much attention until i heard the opening bars of "age of consent" jump out of my telly. and as you do i waited till the end to see new orders name roll up in the credits only it didnt? all that came up was "age of consent" written by hook,sumner,gillbert and morris. all the other tracks showed who it was written and PERFORMED BY but this was not the case in the new order track. does anyone know if it was new order or just a bunch of session guys.

This track was done by Velocity Girl...they had a fairly decent following in the Pacific NW of USA in the 90's...as well as a couple of minor college radio hits. Definately not session guys.

yeah, i saw that on tv too! they used AOC during some stoopid chase scene near the end of the movie.

Saw this movie w/ a girl a bit back....told her "I love this song"...she's all "Ummm, what is it?"....hehe, having inside New Order information is the best :D

ALSO: At this dance a couple of nights ago, the DJ was testing his equipment w/ the "Trainspotting" sndtrk. "Temptation" came on, and I almost started busting a move right then and there.

oh no...was it like a solid "Boogy"?

As mentioned before, cash ran out for music on the movie and that instrumental was used instead of the "real thing" as had been planned....
