i don't know if this topic has been covered before but i downloaded a different version of temptation--and mr. bernard isn't singing! is this hooky? :) the track is also about a minute shorter.

Or perhaps it's just the 1982 version, where he sounds like somebody else.

But 82 version isn't a minute shorter..I'm not sure of it, but I don't think so.

the seven inch version is about 5min18sec. the something wild edit is about 3min25sec if that helps.

the bass part is a little 'funkier,' uhh. yeh--does that help? it totally could still be sumner, but it doesn't even sound like movement days. but i dig it!

Is it live or studio? The version on NewOrderStory for instance has very different sounding vocals, but it's definitely Barney. I suppose it depends on exactly what he's taken beforehand :)
