US Retro Limited Edition Scam?

I am a very frustrated fan at the moment! I preordered the limited edition of the Retro box from Amazon because I figured that would be the safest bet (that was before Rhino announced their direct purchase offer). As soon as I heard that people were receiving the four disc set instead, I immediately set out in search of the limited set in local stores (Dallas area). I've checked Tower Records, Wherehouse Music, Bill's Records, and various Best Buys, Circuit Cities, Borders, and Barnes and Nobles and can't find it anywhere! I'm just wondering if anyone has found the US limited version in any US stores. I find it a bit suspicious that they are all over ebay but I haven't seen anyone mention that they've found one in a store yet.

If anyone does have access to a limited set (US or UK), I'd be happy to purchase it from you, with a premium of course.

no i didn't find the limited edition,

but i think they had the 4disc version at soundwaves here in houston,tx

but i didn't buy it.. and probably wont for quite awhile, unless i see a cheap used copy...

Haven't seen the 5-disc version at places like Borders or Circuit City around here unfortunately.

Well if you dont mind hitting up Tower, I see the import with the fifth disc all the time. Also they charge the same for the import as the domestic release. I bet most major Tower's have the import at least.

Yeah, I tried Tower but they only had the US 4 disc version. I didn't see the import there at all. I wish there was an HMV in town. :(
