London record stores...need some help

I need some help about this...i'm going to London on february, and I'm looking for good record shops.

Can somebody help me?

If they have NO/JD records, cd's, videos, etc. much better.

If you head for Oxford Street there are two HMVs and a Virgin Megastore. When leaving the HMV in the middle of Oxford Street cross the road and turn left then look for Berwick Street where there are all manner of record shops you will find Sister Ray, Music And Video Exchange, Mr CD (cash only but all chart cd's are £10), Select a disc, 2 Reckless Records and another two shops whose names escape me. If you continue walking PAST all the sex shops and the market you will come out to Tower Records at Piccadilly Circus. There is also a good shop called Steves Sounds in Newport St, which is off Shaftesbury Avenue, near Tottenham Court Road tube station. There is another Music and video exchange in Notting Hill (close to the tube). Camden also has a lot of good (and Bad) record stores but its notin my locale so maybe someone else could advise you of this.

The worlds largest second hand record store (they claim)is in Croydon (take the train from Kings Cross or Victoria or Waterloo about 20 minutes from central London). Its called Beanos. Croydon is the home of 101cd.com which opens to the public Thurs - Sat only. (the shop is a bit dingy though)

Everyone's already said what I was going to say (repeatedly). Only thing to add is while in Berwick street you can re-enact some very bad sleeve art.

Mate, get yourself down to 'FOPP' on the corner of Charing Cross Road and Shaftsbury Avenue

They got 316dvd for £10 International for £10 all the JD & NO albums on CD for £5 (except Substance and Lowlife which are £10)

Its well worth a visit :)
