Here's a link to a tune I done recently. Basically it was a Xmas prezzie for a very kind young lady I work with, I wanted to give her a special gift, and since the only thing I can do even slightly well is make tunes, that's what she got. I also felt it was time I admitted that Peter Hook's bass playing should be thought of as a style in it's own right. So I basically went bass-tasticly mental on this tune, there are about 7 different basslines on it. Also since the lady in question knows I am a borderline mental case when it comes to New Order, I threw another few touches in that smell of them ( DMX drums and washy synthpads), normally I wouldn;t be quite so blatant. Anyway, enjoy! BTW: If Rob Williams is about, listen to it mate, and tell the Hook-God of it, It would be fabulous if he were to here it and either bless or curse it =-)

Sorry for long silence on intro.

Egads!!!! no reaction? I'm heartbroken, I thought at least some flames would be in order, but silence....that hurts:)

Mention something about football or something else totally irrelevant.

I think the problem is that your server is very slow. I listen to the entire 1 disc of Retro and half of the live CD and it still didn't finish downloading! And I have a DSL connection. 13 megs usually takes me 13 minutes at the very most!

Anyways, I finally listened to it. Started out very nice, I like the basslines, very dreamy. but I kinda lost me toward the middle. but I liked it.

Apologies for speed, it's served from our home webserver, I guess the netwrok has been bust overnight or something. I ought to have downbyted it for the web too:)

Probably the reason it dull's you out in the middle is that it is a song rather than an instrumental, but I haven't done the final vocals ( the guide vox ar nowhere near good enough to let the world hear....even NO fans who are used to Barney:) ) Anyway, glad u liked the bass. Ta for feedback.
