The Project is a decent TT, exceptionally good for the money. Don't think that model is available anymore, but if you can find one 2nd hand, look out for one with an Ortofon MC1 Turbo Cartridge - the sound is almost indistinguishable from CD.

I don't know the model, but my local stereo shop just started carrying a Mordaunt Short bookshelf subwoofer 5.1 channel thing. They played a James Taylor DVD-A disc and the speakers sounded great, although I am not convinced that multichannel music is the way to go.

As for your Project, that is one 'table I am consedering purchasing, along with Rega and MMF.

Have you been happy with your table??

Rega Planar 3 & RB300 arm is the way to go, the deck is suoerb and the arm is even used in some Linn LP12 set ups.
