Well, which version? I like them both equally myself. I remember reading that the version from "the best of" was actually played on the radio to promote the album.
the vocal-version from the "best of"-album would've been a great single. they should've done a more compact radio edit of this song and it would've been perfect ![]()

I want singles that add to their legacy, not just product.
Wouldn't it have been a nice thing to have during that time when they were mainly concentrating on their side projects?
It surely must be a single, not only to add a product in my collection (ok, maybe it's the main reason), but to include its lost versions or a new song in b-side. Oh, guys, I'd buy it anyway!!! Release it, please!
Nah, it's great having a B-side as good as the A-side, kinda like a wee bonus from the band. Although if the same question was asked of 1963 I would probably have said yes, I think that would have done a lot better than Lonesome Tonight, if Lonesome Tonight was released as a single, I would imagine a load of them weird fuckin goths would have got into the band![]()
Goths.....I was only kidding![]()

Most definitely - this is the kind of song Yanks love. Both the instrumental and vocal tracks, plus something from that time period (between Substance and Technique). A remix of "Touched By The Hand of God" perhaps, 1963, or one of the instrumental tracks from the Salvation movie.
